Is there a problem if a car is parked on my driveway? No need to worry about parked cars; our drivers are expertly trained to work around them. Typically, by the time the driver makes their second round (4-5 hours later), most parked cars have been moved, allowing for a complete cleaning of the driveway. To help us provide the best service, we recommend: Placing your car as close to the top and side of the driveway as possible to give the driver maximum accessibility. Moving your car onto the street, if feasible. If moving the car isn't possible, our driver will clear the area behind where the car is parked, including any snow banks left by the city plow. *Please note: To maintain efficiency, our drivers do not get out of their tractors to knock on doors and ask customers to move their vehicles. It is the customer's responsibility to move vehicles from the driveway to ensure proper snow removal. Thanks to our state-of-the-art software, we can dynamically adjust our routes and make additional rounds as needed. This technology enables us to provide the most efficient and thorough snow removal service possible.

What about water valves on my driveway?Homeowners are responsible for contacting the city if a water valve cap is protruding from the driveway. You should request a service technician to lower the pipe and cap to the level of the driveway. This service is free of charge. If the cap is not level with the driveway, it is likely to get hit and blown onto the lawn during snow removal. Please ensure the city addresses this situation before the first snowfall, as failure to do so may result in repair charges in the spring.
-
Do you spread salt on the driveway? No, we do not apply abrasives on residential driveways. It is the homeowner’s responsibility to apply any necessary abrasives to ensure safety and traction, especially on driveways with a slope leading toward the house. This is particularly important to prevent slipping and accidents. We recommend using sand, salt, or other suitable materials to maintain the safety and accessibility of your driveway during the winter months. Proper maintenance of the driveway surface helps prevent ice buildup and ensures a safer environment for both residents and visitors.
-
When are the driveway markers installed and removed? At Blizzard Pro, we install driveway markers by November 1st, and they are typically removed after the second week of April. Please do not discard the markers. If you prefer to remove them yourself before April, we kindly ask that you place them beside your garage or house. Our team will collect them during our next visit. Thank you for your cooperation and helping us maintain efficient service.
